Croeso i Blwyf Rheithorol Llanbeblig

 01286 673750

Trysor mwyaf y Plwyf Rheithorol yma yw y bobl. Cewch groeso yn mhob un o’r eglwysi - sy’n gweddu  i Gymdogaeth Gristnogol sy’n byw a bod yng Nghrist.

Mae amrywiaeth o addoliad ar gael yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg. Does arnom ddim cywilydd datgan  mai ein prif ddyletswydd yw addoli Duw mewn sancteiddrwydd. Does arnom ddim cywilydd o’r Efengyl. Rydym yn datgan  yr alwad driphlyg: Y Sacramentau, y Beibl a’n traddodiad.

Rydym yn eich croesawu i “ddod i weld”.
Dewch i’n cyfarfod ni yn nhoriad y bara ac yng nghyoeddi y Gair. Dangoswn barch i bawb sy’n siwr o’i ffydd a’i draddodiad. Mae Ef , yr ydym ni yn ei adnabod i’w rannu â phawb.

Mae un o safleodd Cristnogol hynaf Prydain o fewn y plwyf. Mae Eglwys y Plwyf , Llanbeblig , rhyw filltir o ganol y dref , wedi ei sefydlu ers 433 pan ddaeth St Peblig (St Publicus yn Lladin) yma.

Mae dwy eglwys arall yn y plwyf: Santes Fair yng Nghaernarfon a Betws Garmon rhyw 6 milltir i ffwrdd yn Nyffryn Gwyrfai. Y ddau adeilad efo  hanes cyfoethog. Adeiladwyd Eglwys y Santes Fair yn 1307 yn fuan ar ôl y castell. Hon oedd eglwys y milwr cyffredin ac mae’n esiampl dda o eglwys garsiwn ganol-oesol. Sefydlwyd Betws Garmon gan St Garmon neu un o’i ddilynwyr.

Mae Neuadd sy’n dwyn yr enw Feed My Lambs yn gysylltiedig â’r plwyf hefyd. Defnyddir hi yn rheolaidd gan y plwyf ac mae ar gael i’r Gymdogaeth yn ogystal.

Welcome to Rectorial Benefice of Llanbeblig

01286 673750

The treasure of this benefice is first and foremost its people. In each church you will receive a welcome that befits a Christian community that lives and moves in Christ.

There is a variety of worship in both Welsh and English. We are not ashamed to say that our first duty is to worship God in holiness. We are not ashamed of the Gospel. We proclaim the threefold cry ; the Sacraments, the Bible and our tradition. This is where we begin but do not end.

We invite you to ‘come and see’’.
Come to meet us at the breaking of the bread and with the proclamation of the Word. We treat everybody with respect in the context of a parish that is certain of its faith and its tradition. He, who we know, is to be shared.

This parish is privileged with one of the oldest Christian sites in Britain. The parish church at Llanbeblig, a mile from the centre of town, was founded around the year 433 by Saint Peblig, or Saint Publicius to give him his Latin name.

There are two other churches in the parish: St Mary's in Caernarfon and Betws Garmon, six miles away up the Gwyrfai Valley. These two also have a history. St Mary’s was built not long after the castle was built, in 1307. It was the church of the common soldier and is a good example of a medieval garrison church. Betws Garmon was founded either by St Garmon or by one of his disciples.

Attached to the parish is a hall, that carries the name " Feed My Lambs". This hall is used by the parish and is available for community use
